The contract holder may be required to pay a service call fee per their home warranty contract. If so, this will be paid before a technician can be dispatched to the service location. All additional services will be paid at the time of service.
Rekey Special includes a locksmith trip charge to the service location, during which we’ll rekey up to 6 keyholes (including standard* deadbolts & doorknobs less than 30 years old), four copies of the new keys, and updating existing deadbolts with kick-in resistant screws at the time of service.
Free smoke alarm checks can be requested before the appointment. If a residence contains more than six keyholes, the customer will specify which four keyholes we are to rekey. Additional keyholes can be rekeyed at an additional $18.50/ extra keyhole.
If a request to rekey all locks into one key is made, be aware that this can only be done if the existing hardware is compatible with each other.

When rekeying a lock, a locksmith is changing the combination of each cylinder inside of the lock. Some locks have two cylinders, like in the case of a double-sided cylinder, as shown above. There is one cylinder per keyhole.
The rekey special comes with up six keyholes, not six locks.
*If your home has more than six keyholes, every additional keyhole is an extra charge.
